South Australia's planning laws face biggest overhaul in 20 years

State Political Editor Daniel Wills has written an article about Planning Minister John Rau's announcement of a comprehensive review of the state's planning laws.

It comes after the State Government delivered a major reform of the CBD planning regime and pursues changes in the inner rim suburbs.

The Government has faced criticism in the past week that it has failed to properly consult with residents.

SPRA would like to know if Minister Rau will seek to have local councils place a halt on Development Planning Amendments that are currently being drafted until after the review is completed.
