Dunstan By-Election Meet the Candidate
On 23rd of March 2024, a by-election for the seat of Dunstan will be held. It's about the future of our community and our place!
The St Peters Residents Association has organised a meet the candidates forum at 7pm on Wednesday 20th of March at the St Peters Banquet Hall, St Peters Street, St Peters.
An invitation is extended to all candidates. We are happy to confirm that all candidates have confirmed their attendance. The candidates will speak in the order they appear on the ballot paper:
- Frankie Bray, Animal Justice Party
- Cressida O'Hanlon, Labor
- Katie McCusker, Greens
- Anna Finizio, Liberal
- Nicole Hussey, Australian Family Party
Each candidate will have to address issues of concern such as loss of amenity, high rise development and urban infill.

Meet the Candidates Forum
You are invited to attend a forum to meet the candidates. and ask questions, including on topics such as:
- traffic congestion
- noise pollution
- demolition of 19th century heritage
- loss of significant trees
- loss of historic character
- over-development
We would like you to ask questions in person, but you can submit questions using the email address: info@stpeters.asn.au

Prior to the meeting the SPRA AGM will be held at 6:30pm
The event is held in conjunction with the:
- Kensington Residents' Association
- Norwood Residents' Association - Facebook
- Kent Town Residents Association
- Maylands Evandale Stepney Community Network Group
It is planned that each candidate will be allowed 7 minutes to canvas the local issues and to give their vision for the electorate.
The audience will then be given an opportunity to ask questions of the candidates to help you to decide who should represent you in the seat of Dunstan for the next two years.
